Ouch! Talk about sticker shock. Do you have a plan for your long-term care? Did you know that the cost of senior long-term care👴👵 is approaching the cost of raising our children? According to Genworth’s Cost of Care: Trends & Insights study, the annual national median cost for assisted living facility care services was $54,000 in 2021. And the average cost of a private room in a nursing home in 2023 has surpassed $100,000 a year 💸, according to Senior Living. Meanwhile, the USDA estimates that the cost of raising a child until the age of 18 is around $233,610.
